OUR WHY
Is pretty simple. We know dance can uplift
you, encourage confidence, individuality and self expression. We know dance helps memory, fitness, and stimulates good mental health too.

As well as becoming a great dancer, storyteller and expressionist through dance, we want to see an Auckland landscape with fit and empowered people, confidently taking on their dreams and life choices.

We like storytelling through music and we would like to be part of yours, and you part of ours too.

Its never a journey alone, its one we do together.

PHILOSOPHY

We believe in exploration of the arts for everyone.

The Performing Arts is a life lesson.
The skills and discipline you learn, enhance your experience and performance in day to day life; developing the person, as well as the craft.

We love our craft, and are experts in our fields.; skillful, creative and mindful. We adapt and challenge you in our classrooms as well as create pathways that establish healthy self confidence, connection, fitness, empowerment, improve memory, creativity, team spirit, skill sets, problem solving, & time management.

Community is at our heart and core.Developing and championing a community, Empire is a hub for dancers, artists, collaborators, students, teachers, & choreographers to work collectively,
and championing everyone to succeed.

We set goals to keep our student body motivated, and working towards skill & performance outcomes.

We keep the balance of personal growth, that of the team, and collectively as the wider community - establishing strong connection & creative pathways.

OUR STUDIOS

We have five studio spaces of various sizes used for classes, rehearsals, one on one lessons.
We host community events such as movie nights, and book clubs, as well as using our space as an intimate performance venue.

SHARED SPACE

We share Empire with like-minded classes, teams, groups, and individuals who value the hive mind, community connection, and champion team spirit.

Sharing space with other groups means your dancers will be inspired by other disciplines, works in progress, working professionals,  and masters of the arts.
